    Question 6.4 Empty Question 6.4

Post  Lisa Wed Feb 01, 2012 12:22 pm

Need to research and report on an experiment carried out on puppies with regards to the regression of socialisation, ie. if puppies are socialised and then have a period of isolation (kennels for example) how the original effects of socialisation can be lost.

I have searched and searched and just cannot find any reference to any experiments (it's probably staring me in the face but I'm getting frustrated with it now!!!!)

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Scott and Fuller are the ones who did this experiment and it's in their book.

It's also referenced in other books, off the top of my head Coppinger, mikloski (sp) and Bradshaw. But if you have the scott and fuller book it's best to quote the original.

    Hi

I ended up using references from Serpell, Scott and Fuller and Lindsay.

Email your tutor they may suggest something.
