Took the APDT Assessment at the weekend and have passed. Very stressful anyway and it was really hot, the dogs were all advanced so that made it harder to teach beginning level exercises.
Odd remark was last year (when I failed) I was pulled up for using class dogs to demo, this year I was pulled up for not using class dogs! When asked why I said that you shouldn't just take a dog from it's owner if you've never met it before as you have no idea how it's going to react and you are technically stealing the dog.
