    Introduction and Hi!

    Hi Everyone

My name is Alyth. I'm based in Oxfordshire and am taking the basic dog skills course with CIDBT. My reason for taking the course is because I have found my latest rescue (a collie bitch)a real challenge. Not to be beaten, I decided it was time to start getting myself educated in all things canine! It's paid off already. I have finally got my dog walking to heel on the lead after 17 months of tearing my hair out. My thanks to all the help given a fabulous local trainer and behaviourist, and the constant back-up of my agility trainer and group.

On top of this,I'd also like to thank my three volunteers with lead pulling problems who agreed to be my "guinea pigs" for one section of my course. Nothing like having to explain to others to sharpen up your own skills. I've loved the whole trainee teaching process and the successes I've witnessed still make me glow!

Looking forward to learning heaps from all of you. Good luck with your courses.

    Best wishes alyth
